Come on out and join BGLOB for one of our club rides! Club rides are designed for riders of all experience levels. Helmets are required for all club rides and riders should come prepared for basic mechanical repairs, such as changing flat tires. Learn more about group riding safety and etiquette. Weekday Road Rides (Apr - Sep)

Mondays - 6:00pm. Freeman Park - Flat to slightly rolling marked routes of 18, 24 and 28 miles.

Tuesdays - 5:30pm. Fountain Square Park. Hilly routes of 19 or 25 miles. Note: this ride is cancelled on the 3rd Tuesday of each month due to the Pizza Ride.

Wednesdays - 6:00pm. Chaney's Dairy Barn. Flat marked routes of 8, 20 or 44 miles.

Thursdays - 6:00pm. Kereiakes Park "Easy Riders". Mostly flat routes of 10 - 25 miles with an easygoing pace. Ride Leader: Forrest Halford

Also on the 2nd Thursday of each month, compete against yourself for the BGLOB Time Trial Series.

Saturday Rides

Easy Riders

New!Starting in May 2009 - In addition to our longer Saturday ride options, BGLOB and Bike BG are now offering a Saturday "Easy Riders" edition. These rides start from Keriakes Park at 9:00am each Saturday. The 60 - 90 minute rides are at an easy relaxed pace and are suitable for all riders and types of bikes. Questions? Mountain Biking

On the second Saturday of each month, join BGLOB for a ride at Mammoth Cave National Park's Sal Hollow Trail. Meet at the Maple Springs trailhead parking lot at 9:00 a.m. For carpooling / caravan, meet at Hardee’s at exit 28 on I-65 at 8:00 a.m. to meet at the trailhead at 9:00. The ride should last about 2 hours. Remember to bring your helmet. Contact Johnny Johnson (270-996-0005) for more information.

April 4 - 8:00am. Iron Bridge Route. 43 miles of rolling hills starting from Fountain Square Park. Ride Leader: Forrest Halford.

April 11 - 8:00am. Gold City Route. 51 miles of intermediate hill climbing, starting from Basil Griffin Park. Ride Leader: Susan Ammons

April 18 - 8:00am. Clifty Hollow Route. 45 mile hilly route starting from Fountain Square Park. Ride Leader: Forrest Halford.

April 25 - 8:00am. Franklin via Salmans. Starting at Basil Griffin Park. 50 miles of rolling hills. Ride Leader: Bobby Webb

May 2 - 8:00am. Two Overpass, Two County Ride; Starting at Freeman Park to Shaker Museum; 45 miles, fairly flat. Ride Leader: Anne Ellis

May 9 - 8:00am. Greenhill-Boyce; Starting at Phil Moore Park; 50 miles, rolling hills. Ride Leader: Anne and Kent Ellis

May 16 - 9:00am. Adairville Strawberry Festival Ride

May 23 - 8:00am. Tour de Cave Preview; 38 or 68 miles starting at Oakland Elementary School. Ride Leader: Steve Knapp

May 30 - 8:00am. Auburn; 50 mile hilly route starting at Basil Griffin Park, Ride Leader: Bobby Webb

June 6 - Tour de Cave Bike Ride.

June 13 - 8:00am. Two choices: That Other Dam Ride, 95 miles of hills, very difficult, Ride Leader: Steve Dieball OR 50 - 55 miles, also hilly but slower pace, Ride Leader: Bobby Webb Both routes start at Ed Spears Park in Smiths Grove.

June 20 - 8:00am. Two Overpass, Two County Ride; Starting at Freeman Park to Shaker Museum; 45 miles, fairly flat. Ride Leader: Anne Ellis

June 27 - 8:00am. 55 miles of rolling hills starting from Fountain Square Park. Ride Leader: Forrest Halford.

July 4 - 8:00am. Pig Ride 40 miles of rolling hills starting from Warren East High School. Breakfast at the Porky Pig Diner (free to BGLOB members). Ride Leader: Susan Ammons

July 11 - 8:00am. Halifax-Gold City ride. 44 miles; hilly, starting from Freeman Park in Plano. Ride Leader: Susan Ammons

July 18 - 8:00am. Russellville Ride. 55 miles starting from Chaney's Dairy Barn. Ride Leader: Meredith Johnson

July 25 - 8:00am. Simpson County Ride. 40 - 50 miles starting from the West side of the Franklin Square. Ride Leader: John Russell
