Health fair gives Richardsville Elementary School students a good look at good living

Keith Mueller, with the assistance of crash dummies Larry and Vince, stood in front of Kristin Denney’s kindergarten class.
“When you hear the click, you know you’re safe,” said the Kentucky Department of Transportation District 3 superintendent. “Safety belts save lives, and it’s the law now to buckle up.”
In the gym at Richardsville Elementary School, 16 vendors waited as groups of students filtered in during the school’s annual Health and Safety Fair.
From returning vendors, like Warren County Public Schools Food Service and Nutrition Department, to new vendors, like the Bowling Green League of Bicyclists, students got a first hand look at ways to stay safe and healthy. (more…)
